Speaking before the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation's annual conference in McLean, Va, the Director of the FDA's Center for Device and Radiological Health, David Feigal, stated that in upcoming months:

...the Devices Center will focus most of its resources on boosting inspections and anti-terrorist activities such as increased import surveillance. (emphasis added)
